Hello there! My name is Kelsy and I'm the Owner/Founder of Coastal Coffee Company.
I've been working in the coffee industry since I was a young 14 years of age! My dad, the most entrepreneurial entrepreneur I've ever met, took a leap of faith one day and bought an espresso van off Craigslist. The following day, I would be found memorizing coffee recipes and helping build our brand. My dad and I would spend the next couple of years attending various farmers markets and other events slinging coffee in our little van called Jumpstart Java.
I wish I could tell you that it was those years that I had my future determined, but... let's be real. I spent a few years in college pursuing various career paths whilst working part time in different coffee shops around the Seattle region. Creeping up on thirty years of age, with a wide range of coffee and management experience under my belt, it became increasingly apparent that my calling was right under my nose all along.
It has been such an exciting adventure building this brand, and I'm thrilled to start sharing it with you all! Locally roasted specialty cold brew is what CCC's main focus is going to be, but with the help of my loving husband Alex and my best friend Tellina (and so many others), Coastal Coffee Company will continue to expand it's offerings into a mobile espresso business and, hopefully someday, a collection of brick and mortar cafes!
